Equine Assisted Development

Personal Growth & Healing

Through Counseling with Horses

Robin Gwin BSW, LSW offers equine assisted counseling for adults and children. These sessions are designed to help people work through any personal issues, pain, or trauma they may have, through meaningful interactions with horses.

This non-clinical approach gives people a unique opportunity for personal growth and healing, by incorporating connection with an equine partner of their choice. In the context of developing a relationship with the horse, participants will benefit from developing increased self- awareness, identifying relationship patterns and communication skills, and practicing new forms of healthy behavior.

Equine assisted counseling is an individual learning process, and does not require horse experience to participate.

This service is built upon the principles of Natural Lifemanship, a trauma-informed model of equine assisted therapy.
